Delicious home cooking with any comfort food you can ever imagine. The staff are open-minded, welcoming people.

The food was simple but every dish our party of 3 had was tasty. The service was reasonably quick and extremely friendly. We paid $44 total for 3 entrees and two desserts.

Friendly staff, refusing to do COVID protection, 1 B&G, 1 egg, 3 pc bacon, cup tea $14. Wow. Biscuit was hard & crunchy, couldn't cut it with a fork, gravy had hot and cold bites. Egg came out brown.

Only giving a 1 because 0 isn't possible. Everything here tasted gross except the (pre frozen) appetizers. Entrees were disgusting and frozen. Awkward waitress, soda was not refilled. I think we were charged for an entree that was sent back, but at this point, we just wanted to get out of there. Gross. Save yourself some time, aggravation and money by avoiding this restaurant.

We stopped here at this little Roadside Cafe just expecting a sandwich only to find out that they also serve the best country cooking around if you want good old-fashioned cooking by people who enjoy doing it and they are very friendly there then you should stop it is worth the stop great food great atmosphere

My wife got the meatloaf it was extremely gritty tasting and nasty she died of indigestion for 2 days I got the country fried steak and it had extremely odd taste the mashed potatoes was the only thing that was any account but the gravy was weird tasting

Clean! Owner and young waitress were extremely friendly. I think some of reviewers get the service they deserve. We had no issues whatsoever. Went for breakfast two days in a row! We have eaten at diners in many states. This is a classic little place. Nice talk with the owners. Will be going back. Beats the hell out of IHOP, B Evans, or Cracker Barrel.

After driving to Petersburg for a softball tournament we stopped at Mallows Cafe and had Cheesburgers that were very good. The waitress was nice and the price was reasonable. Went back the next day for breakfast and the owner Kim Mallow was our waitress. She was rude to my Daughter (14 years old) because she asked if the crab meat for the crab cakes were imitation crab meat or real crab meat. She snapped in response that of course it is real crab meat. When I order breakfast the sausage was hard as a rock. I sent it back and she brought out sausage links and said that the sausage patties are made that way and are juicy inside. (Sorry but I have never had sausage that is made that way) The links tasted like some frozen sausage out of a box. She was also rude to the people at the table in front of us. I will never eat there again. You just don't treat your customers this way.

People are nice and love the rule they have there NO CELL PHONES OUT ON TABLES or talking on them at table u go outside, families DNT sit and eat together and talk like they use to this allows u to do that! The sign even says they will break it and NOT PAY FOR IT IF ITS OUT ON TABLE!! I think it should be like that for all restaurants I'm a sever and there's nothing worse then coming to a table to be ignored while ur talking to someone on a phone! The food was good I enjoyed it allot there def a good place to stop after a long ride on motorcycle in the mountains!

We Stopped in for Breakfast for our 1st visit, Food and Staff was Good & Friendly... Not many Places in the area to Stop, so we was Pleased to find them!

Phenomenal service and the food was amazing! I ordered a hamburger, 100% fresh meat burger. This burger was finger licking good. Save room for dessert the chocolate fudge/cake is to die for! Overall great experience! Make time to stop.

Best breakfast we had in the area and I'm covering a large area! Super clean, good service! The owner and the cook helped us with directions and made sure we knew where we were going!

Delicious home cooking and a friendly atmosphere. This cafe is THE place to stop in after a long day or hike from Dolly Sods. The food is all fresh and made to order and the atmosphere is clean, welcoming and like an oasis after a few muddy days up on the Sods.

Great service but the food was terrible every is out of a can not homemade, gravy is terrible out of a can! My mother tried it before also and didn't like the food! Also believe I was overcharged for our meals!

Great place to eat if you are in the area. Very down to earth people with great hospitality. If i am ever in the area again i will certainly stop back in and eat!

Absolutely wonderful food and service.

A homey little place to eat out in the mountains. We stopped here on a snowy day and had the best burger yet in this area. The meat was fresh and according to the owner “not frozen”. The prices are also very low according to the food quality. All in all a great place to stop by on your way.
